Thoughts behind this painting

This painting, created during the pandemic, reflects the complex emotions of that time. While there was a collective heaviness, I personally experienced a sense of lightness in the quiet that surrounded me. Through the soft, ethereal tones and almost weightless depiction of the figure, I wanted to convey this duality—an inner calm amidst external turmoil.
