Thought behind artwork
I wanted to create a portrait, as I haven't done so in a while. This one was heavily inspired by one of my favorite artists, Henrikau, who creates stunning portraits through thoughtful paint strokes where every mark counts. I love the way the artist's presence shows through the brush strokes, and I wanted to create a similar feeling. I'm drawn to the energy conveyed in initial sketches, and here I tried to capture that same vitality. I was particularly captivated by her downward gaze and smile, which I aimed to portray in my work.
