In this graphite painting, I wanted to portray a woman with flowy, almost ethereal hand, evoking a mysterious and slightly spooky atmosphere. I experimented with line work to capture the fluidity of a sketch while refining it with careful attention to values. The aim was to create an eerie yet intriguing piece that plays with the balance between the rawness of initial sketches and the depth brought by shading.
